Muffler Repair in Flagstaff Directory
for your personal auto repair, but so long as you know how to go about the process it could be really simple. Every company will claim they have the best mechanics and give the best prices, but clearly that may be untrue. The easiest way to know you are getting the best repair for your lowest price would be to take the time to do your research. Step one to finding the right clients are to consider the reviews that were left by previous customers. Chances are that you have more mechanics in your area than you are able to count. It can be hard to pick which companies to even can compare to others. Locate a site that gives the option to see their reviews at a general star level. Following that you must be able to find the top 10 companies in your area. You then should spend some time to browse the reviews which have been left by their past clients. Realize that there definitely is going to be negative reviews, regardless how good the business is, however the vast majority should be positive. Try to find negative reviews that share a similar issues, including needing to bring their vehicle back a quick timeframe because it actually was not yet fixed. Any shop should e able to diagnose and repair a car the 1st time. From your initial selection of 10 you will be able to narrow it to 3 different businesses that are the most effective. You can then call each and get if they are willing to offer you an insurance quote totally free. Should they have made your top three list they must be more than willing to accomplish this. That way you can really know what they think to be the trouble as well as the things they think it is going to cost. Once you have quotes from all of 3 then you can decide who to work with. It can be tempting to decide simply in line with the cost, but how they treat you must also be considered. Customer support is essential in relation to auto repair. Should they be ready to explain everything for you and demonstrate that they feel that you have value then they are truly thinking about obtaining your small business and keeping it. Take into consideration every factor of your interaction prior to making a decision about which mechanic you think is most beneficial to service your car or truck. Every auto mechanic will claim that they have the most effective costs, from parts to service, but to be honest that they can all differ often. Muffler Repair in Flagstaff Directory Take the time to investigate how others have felt concerning their service, what their prices are and exactly how you personally felt if you visited their shop. This really is the easiest method to look for a quality auto mechanic shop which will suit your needs and expectations.

Dor A First Time Driver What Is The Best And Nicest Cheap Car I Should Get 10 Best Muffler Repair in Flagstaff Directory?

Used or new? What size are you? Good somewhat cheap cars would be the Nissan sentra, Nissan versa, Toyota camry, Honda civic, ford focus (these are cheap and reliable but have to be meticulously maintained and driven lightly, head gaskets are a common issue with these), if you want a good used car go for an older pontiac grand am (I have always had good luck with these cars with little to no issues), Chevy cavalier, toyota corolla or Camry, Nissan maxima, Acura integra, vigor, or tl, Honda civic or accord. Your best bet is to go foreign for your first car. They usually don't require as much maintenance as domestic brands. Stay away from Isuzu, Mazda, and Hyundai/Kia (these brands will cost you tons of time and money....some of them are good cars but why take the chance on getting a clunker). 10 Best Muffler Repair in Flagstaff Directory If you're buying used make sure you get a carfax report to make sure the car has never been in an accident or had any major repairs and try to find a car with less than 100k miles on it. Up to 120k is ok on a newer toyota, nissan, or Honda brand.

It'S Not Leaking Into The &Quot;Heater Core&Quot; Either. It'S Using About A Gallon Of Coolant A Month. I Dont Know What Else To Do But I Dont Want It To Get Worse. 10 Best Muffler Repair in Flagstaff Directory I Had Them Flush The Coolant And Replace All The Hoses. White Smoke Coming Out Of Muffler??Head Or Valve Gasket Blown??
What Does It Mean When White Smoke Comes Out Of Your Exhaust Pipe?? Is It A Blown Head Or Head Gasket Blown Or Could It Be A Valve Gasket Blown?? Its For A Ford Contour 1996 Best Ten Muffler Repair in Flagstaff Directory??

That would most likely be a bad head gasket. Car Dealers Auto Mechanics?
Want To Know What The Setup Is, The Pay Practices Of Certified Mechanics Doing Car Repairs At New Car Dealerships. Do They Just Earn An Hourly Wage, A Set Wage? Or Do They Get Incentive Pay, Like A Bonus For Selling More Parts And Services? I'Ve Heard Some Small Car Repair Shops Do Something Called ' Tab '. Top Ten Muffler Repair in Flagstaff Directory They Try To Find Other Things Wrong With Your Car When You Bring It To Them For A Repair And They Pad The Bill - Therefore The Mechanic Makes A Bonus.

Mechanics generally get paid by the Job... Thus if the book says it takes 1 hour to do the job the Mechanic gets $.$$ for that hour of labor. If he can finish in 45 minutes and start another job then he gets to keep the extra. They ALSO generally get paid a co mission on Parts. And the commission depends on the shop, how good they are, and if it was the original job or something they found afterwords. The big question is not the Mechanic doing the work at the dealer its the person standing between you and the mechanic they call the service writer (who may or may not have any mechanic experience--- I know of a salesman becoming a service writer) they are paid the big bucks to upsell you on the extras like a tranny or coolant flush, tire rotation etc etc. Most Popular Muffler Repair in Flagstaff Directory
But I agree with the writer....When you find a mechanic you like and trust STAY WITH them... a Good mechanic will want your return business more then they want to upsell you on some added service this trip. Best Ten Muffler Repair in Flagstaff Directory

I Need Help Troubleshooting On My 1987 Ford Bronco 2 2.9L 179Ci V6 Fi.?
Yes Ive Got A 1987 Ford Bronco 2 With The 2.9L 179Ci V6 Fi. Every Time When Im Driving, Im Starting To Smell Antifreeze. Ive Checked All The Fluids And I Also Replaced All The Hoses, Water Pump, And Thermostat. Im Still Smelling Antifreeze. If You Guys Have Any Ideas As To Why Im Smelling Antifreeze I Would Really Appreciate If You Can Help Me Out. Thanks.

If you can not find the leak anywhere, but the smell persists and the vehicle is indeed loosing anti-freeze, you might be looking at a leaking head gasket. It might be leaking it into the oil, where the oil looks a little like chocolate milk. It might be leaking it directly into the combustion chamber, usually a misty fog coming out of the tailpipe.

How Much Does It Cost To Replace Two Cylinder Head Gaskets?
I Have A 2001 Toyota Camry That Needs Two Cylinder Head Gaskets Replace. An Auto Mechanic Quoted A $ 2800 To Do The Job. Is This A Fear Price?

That quote sounds very high if its for just the gaskets and not the actual cylinder heads. I would diffenitely get some comparison estimates. Also it could be other parts/repairs may need to be done in conjunction with the head gasket replacements.

Maybe I Should Have It Checked Out Or Maybe I Should Buy It. The Guy Also Wants $2,500 But Won'T Go Down. Maybe I Should Get A Ford Mustang? All The Similar Cars (Civics/Integras) I Have Looked At Have Issues Of One Sort Or Another. I Live In California,Ventura Where Prices For These Kind Of Auto A More Than The National Average. My Dad Tell Me I Should Buy His Friends 1997 Camry For $2,500 Because His Friend Has A Honest Reputation. My Dad Has Done Business With Him Before. I Am Sure The Car Is Reliable But It Is A 4 Door And Looks Like A Family Car. I Am Young And Cute And Figure A V Tech Won'T Hurt My Image. I Know This Might Sound Like I Am Retarded Or Something But My Iq Is 125 And I Have A Gpa Of 2.70 At Junior Collage. Ok Sure I Messed Up In High School And Had A 1.41 (Seriously) Gpa Because I Never Went To School But I Have Matured And Back In The Day High School Didn'T Mean Anything Anyways. I Did Lose A Cal Grant For College Because My Parents Didn'T Tell Me If My Grades Were Low I Would Miss Out. Can You Believe That? My Dad Know About But Kept That Information To Him Self. So Far 1 1/2 Years 27 Units I Have Only One Fail So I Am Doing Pretty Good If My Gpa Is 2.70, Right? Thanks For Reading.

Well I'm 20. How the hell did you get from "Is this a good buy"? to "Are my grades fine"???? If you don't know much about cars bring it to a good mechanic and see whats wrong with, even if you do know quite a bit you should still get it checked out. Use the problems in that car to your advantage when bargaining. I wouldn't pay more than a grand unless it was in exceptional condition which is unlikely. Where I live a 2.7 is pathetic. All that depends on who your comparing yourself to.

Question About Car Repair?
I Just Took My Ford Focus To A Repair Shop, To Get It Checked Out. The Mechanic Quoted Me At 500 Dollars Because The Engine Bearings Are Worn Out (Which The Mechanic Said Was The Reason It Was Dying). Im Just Curious If Thats About The Right Price, And The Right Diagnosis

Definitely get another opinion.
How did he diagnose this? compression check? leak down test? Did he pull your oil pan off to look at your bearings.
did he verify your oil pressure?

What year model is the car how many miles, what are the symptoms we need a little more info.

Now its your car & you know better than any of us, tell me please that you change the oil every 3000 miles.

The car needs jumping is a battery voltage symptom

When was the last time you put a new battery in the car?

Does your engine light come on?

These cars need 12volt & more to make everything work properly, ecm, fuel injectors, maf sensors, Idle air control valves etc. Check that battery.

Idling slow could be a bad or clogged converter,
clogged fuel lines or such.
check all fluids, oil level, transmission level, if its an automatic, radiator fluid and all. Maybe bad gas.

an oil pressure test could verify if your loosing oil pressure & verify the bearing clearances. But they would need to know the proper pressures for a normal stock car & compare it to yours.
The cars too new in my opinion to need bearings unless you neglected oil changes.

I hate Scum that try to get over on people, yet this may not be the case but it sure seems odd to me.

Go somewhere else first. Id get 2 MORE opinions then you'll know.

Automotive Repair As A Career?
I Was Wondering If Automotive Repair Was A Good Trade To Get Into And I Was Also Wondering What High School Classes That Would Help Me Get Into This Trade. Location Is Canada. Thanks.

Physics class is the gold standard for learning automotive technology. Newton's laws of motion, Watt's law of power, Ohm's law of resistance, and Bernoulli's law of displacement are the automotive technician's best friends.

Learn mechanical and electrical engineering. Read all the books, especially the automotive encyclopedia, to get the terminology firmly embedded into your memory so you can accurately and verbally articulate the problems you see for other technicians. This is how you will learn the most...from the experience of others in the same field of study.

Good Luck and begin reading today.
