White Smoke (Muffler)?
I Have A 98 Ford Contour It'S I Did A Bad Oil Change...Then I Fixed It. Im Got A Ton Of White Smoke? Whenever I Drive I Get Alot Of White Smoke. When I Did The Bad Oil Change (Wrong Oil And Filter) I Drove Down One Block Then It Stalled Out. But Im Really Confused Now. And There Is This Clear Liquid Leaking From The Muffler I Have A Job Interview Today So Any Advise Would Be Great. Btw There Are And Were No Abnormal Noises

Ok, what you did when you put in the wrong size oil filter and used the wrong grade of oil was built up too much compression in your cylinders and it blew you head gasket. If you want to make it to your interview today you'll need to do a couple of things.
Go to your local autozone and get the proper oil filter and oil for you car. 5w30 oil. Find your oil filter with this link http://tinyurl.com/ynpp9v. Get something like thermorepair or some kind of head gasket quick fix and some antifreeze and radiator stop leak. Get the 50/50 radiator fluid, it's a couple of buck more but you're in a rush and don't have time to mix it!

Now go back to your car. If you are broken down in an urban area push your car over a sewer drain. If you're rural than just be careful who's around when you do the following:
1.) Drain your oil, (on the ground or in the sewer drain) take off the wrong filter you installed and throw it somewhere, you don't want that oily crap in your car. Put the proper one on. Put in 4-5 quarts of new oil depending on your engine size.
2.) Drain your antifreeze, (on the ground or in the sewer drain). Remember to be cool and don't look like you doing anything suspicious, people frown on dumping oil and antifreeze all over the place.
3.) Add the stop leak head gasket stuff to your motor.
4.) Run you motor for a little bit to get all of the antifreeze out of your system, then close the radiator drain.
5.) Now fill your radiator with the coolant, start your car and continue to fill the radiator with more coolant (antifreeze) & the radiator stopleak untill it's full, be sure to fill your overflow tank too.
6.) GET THE HELL OUTTA THERE. You gotta drive like an ****** to get all of that crap mixed up in your motor anyway!

Clean up and go to your interview.
After your interview stop back at your local autoparts store and get some of the smoke treatment stuff. Now you can sell your car on craigslist to some sucker!!!

What Is &Quot;Faith-Based&Quot; Automotive Repair?
I Had Some Problems With My Old Car, The Alternator, And The Mechanic Said He Would Use His Faith In That Jesus Guy To Find The Problem.

Heal thy car Jesus! Cast electrons into thy battery! Cause air and fuel to mix! You know it is quite a different guy that casts fire into air and smoke out exhaust. You make that pact with the devil every time combustion causes pistons to move. Heat and brimstone smell out the exhaust. Devil of a time paying off the car, And you damn almighty every time you have a flat or car won't start. Right!
Faith based auto repair! What ever floats that mechanics boat. God has granted my with almost X-Ray vision Just by listening I can see how many pistons there are and all the parts and how they work. From childhood I have taken things apart and put them back tougher again

Why Car Can Transfer Without Smog Check?
I Sold My Car Last Month With Smog Check Done At May (5 Months Between May To October) I Went To Dmv With Buyer And Transfer Success.(But Registration Shows Something Like Temporary And Need Pass Smog Check In 60 Days) Dmv Staff Told Me The Car Is Under Buyer'S Name. Is It Means Transfer Success? I'M In California And After 20-25 Days Later. Buyer Come To Me Because Smog Check Failed. I Still Have Response For Him? Or What? If Yes. The Transfer Already Success. And Why I Can Transfer Car Without Smog Check? If No. Tell Me Why Pls!!!

CA requires the SELLER to get the car smog certified. You can be held to pay for getting the car repaired required to return the buyer's money. You can transfer ownership of the car, but the buyer can't get it registered until you provide the smog certification (which you should have done before selling the car). The smog certification must be done within 90 days prior to the sale.

Transfer of ownership is completely separate from registration. And yes, the registration is temporary until you provide the smog certification. It's probably been 30 days since the car was sold, so that's why you have 60 days left.

Very old cars, electric and hybrids don't need certification as well as certain other types of transfers.
