I Want To Move To La After College?
I Wouldn'T Like To Live In La But In The Outskirts Like Ventura County. I Would Like A Small City Type Area Somewhere 50,000 To 150,000. I Might Want To Live In Camarillo Or Maybe Moorpark.
What Is The Cost Of Living In Ventura County? How Many Miles Is It Away From Downtown?
The city of Ventura is about 80 miles west of downtown LA.
If you want to live here and enjoy the weather, then you have to pay for it. You put up with the smog and the traffic, enjoy the weather and pay your rent or mortgage. My advice is to start checking out craigslist, rent.com, and apartments.com if you are looking to rent. You’ll quickly see that the minimum rent for a non-ghetto place is about $1,000/$1,200 per month for a studio/1BR. Really nice areas (like the West LA area) easily run $3,000 or more. Want to live near the beach? Expect to pay a premium.
The answer to this really lies in the answer to the question, “Where do you work”? It’s not good at all to live in Ventura if you have a job in Pasadena. It’s stupid, in fact. The one thing that grinds people down more than anything here is the traffic. It’s the worst thing about living here. So rather than worrying about “cheap and safe”, your FIRST order of business should be getting a place close to your job. THEN you can worry about safety and price. But, to reiterate, nothing is cheap here.
And jobs in LA are scarce enough. Jobs in Ventura are practically nonexistent.

I'm pretty sure that a one year unlimited access/download for one vehicle is right around $25.00.
They do run promotions so you may get lucky, my last re-activation was $12.95
A word of caution: I run a Car Repair Ministry out of my church, and have, on occasion, been forced to purchase a manual from one or another auto parts stores.
I have found so many COMPLETELY wrong procedures, some even with pictures, that you will need to be Very cautious when using them; particularly when it comes to lining up timing marks for a belt.
The few extra dollars for ALLDATAdiy is easily worth the avoided problems.
Did I mention that you'll have unlimited access to anything to do with your car for a year?
What Is The Differnece Between A Smog Test And Smog Certificate?
Or Is It The Same Thing? Car Passes Smog- You Get A Certificate.?
The Smog Test is the actual test itself, and the Smog Certificate is what is issued if you passed the Smog Test and you are required to have for you vehicle registration renewal or licensing. If you fail the Smog Test you will not be issued a Certificate and will have to do repairs to the car and then have it retested. Most States the Smog Certificate is issue electronically and the Smog Check Station sends it to the DMV for that State. You will get a Receipt for the Test and a printout of the Smog Results.
