First off you can not fix it. 1 you do not have the equipment. 2 You do not have the skills or licenses in some states to work on smog devices. Here is the problem with smog failures. You could have just one pat causing all those failures. or you may have 5 parts causing them. But, it will take a qualified mechanic with several thousands of dollars in tools and equipment to isolate all the actual faulty parts in the system. Shop around and ask around town for who the smog guru is. Especially if you can find one in a chevy dealership. He just may be doing work on the side in the evenings at his home garage for half the price of what the dealership is getting.
