you didn't give the miles on the engine, so it can be many things....95 was the last year of the 3liter(96 went to a 3.4 twin cam) and it has EFI. Some initial checks are needed, such as worn plugs and ignition wires-cap/rotor etc. Early 3.0 had a lot of issues with head gaskets and while the 95 had improved head gaskets-it is a possibility. Check your coolant and oil level(cold) and check for moisture under the oil cap( a sign of coolant getting into combustion chamber). Based off your description, as a tech for Toyota- I would look at the injectors being partially plugged. It happens at higher miles or from getting poor quality fuel. A Toyota shop can check the VF voltage(voltage feedback) to see what the ECU is driving the injectors as an indicator, but will charge an hour inspection for this svc. If this is the problem, the manifold will have to be removed and injectors sent out--snake oil in a can will not effectively clean them at this point.

First of all you did not mention what car it is. Like make, model, year, how many miles too.
About the brake pedal. Are you pressing it to give it gas at the same time so the car wont stall or what? If you are then there is a fuel problem. Even a vacuum leak problem as well. Take it to a shop to check the fuel pressure and vacuum pressure.
If they detect a fuel pressure problem then it could be a bad fuel filter, fuel relay or fuse (cheap fix) or a bad fuel pump or fuel regulator leaking (expensive on some models).
If its a vacuum leak then you have a lower intake gasket problem. The part costs around $35 - $80 dollars. Not inlcuding labor, so you need to shop around and get quotes.
The worst thing it could be is a head gasket problem. That you are looking at $500 - $1000 dollars in parts and labor. I just hope you dont have a chrysler vehicle, cause if you do, GOOD LUCK!
