Become A Florida Family Law Attorney?
What Are The Best Steps To Become A Florida Family Law Attorney And About How Long Does It Take? Also, Any Idea On The Cost?
You need college and law school. If you do it at the normal pace, that is 4 years for your Bachelors and another 3 years for law school.
Good college courses that will help you be a great family law advocate include tax and accounting, because so much of what you will do involves splitting the estates in divorce.
Develop good writing and speech skills.
In law school, I would take every trial procedure course available - once you stomp a few opponents in litigation, your reputation will often allow you to negotiate your cases into an acceptable settlement. Also take any arbitration and mediation courses you can get - an ongoing trend in family law cases.
Take another tax course and a Florida real estate law course.
And, of course, Family Law and the core law courses.
Good luck to you - which law schools are you looking at? Stetson? FS? UFL?
How Hard Is It To Revoke Guardianship?
I Gave Gaurdianship Up About 8 Years Ago Because I Was On Drugs Very Young And Not Financially Stable Now I Am Financially Stable An Been Off Drugs For Over 3 Years And I Want My Daughter Back Now
Guardianship or custody? 8 years with someone else sounds too long for guardianship. Did you have to sign any legal paperwork? I have legal custody of a grandchild for the same reasons you had. We had to secure a lawyer and he said guardianship was for temporary care. For example if a couple or single parent had to move far away for work (a year or so at the most) and couldn't take their child. They would give guardianship to a family member or close friend. Legal custody, however gives us the right to raise the child the way we want. We have as much right as if we had adopted that child. But the parents had to sign those rights over to us. In a 4 page document our rights are stated as "having sole custody." We allowed visitation when it was safe, etc. If either one of the parents wants to regain sole custody, they would have to hire an attorney and challenge the court's original decision.
Have you been in contact with your daughter and the family she's been with? I feel like there's some information missing from your question. That's okay, but as asked, it's hard to give a really good answer.
Question About Legal Fees To A Disability Lawyer.?
So, I Have A Family Relative That Filed For Ssi About 2 Years Ago. He Lost The Case, Due To Not Enough Medical Records And So, He'S Decided That He Wants To Go To Work At Say Wal-Mart? Now, He Owes The Lawyer Legal Fees + Interest. Would He Have To Pay It All Back If They Garnish His Wages At Wal-Mart? It'S In The $800 Dollar Range That He Owes The Lawyer. What Would Happen In That Situation?
A lawyer handling a disability case CAN NOT CHARGE YOU for services. They only get 25% of owed
ssi back pay with a limit of $4000 which ever is the lesser + any fees of service for their out of pocket expenses ie a doctor your lawyer pays for or med tests to help prove your case
Do I Need A Lawyer To Do A Title Search For Liens Against Realestate Properties?
In Washington Co Pa
Although there is no legal compulsion but yes, you need a lawyer to do a title search for liens against a real-estate property. Because the lawyers are well aware of the nitty-gritty of the title search. Also lawyers can also explain you the real position of the title like is it a freehold estate, a leasehold estate or anything else. You yourself will not be able to identify them.

Can Perjury Be Punishable In Family Law Cases?
Can Perjury Be Punishable In Family Law Cases?
I Recently Discovered That My Child'S Mother Lied About Child Care Expenses In Order To Get More Child Support From Me. I Have Proof Of Her None Payment To Confirm This In Writing. She Is Not Paying Anything, But Yet Claims She Has, Which Caused My Child Support Order To Be Increased Because The Child Care Expense Was Calculated Along With Her Income Which Would Be More Than Mine If They Had Not Deducted The Child Care As A Work Related Expense On Her Income. Can She Be Punished For Committing Perjury If She Testfied In Court As Well As Documented The False Information With The Social Worker? I'M Working My Butt Off To Pay This Chick And She Has Been Taking Me For A Ride, She Has Never Paid For Childcare In About 10 Years! Also, Do Childcare Cost Have Anything To Do With The Tax Credit Since She Claims The Child Every Year?
I would file a motion for a court hearing and request credit be granted for the additional money you paid based on her inaccurate statements. If you have the proof then it shouldn't be a problem to get a judge to refund you a judgement or take it off of your monthly installments.
