Question About Visitation Rights?
I Have Full Legal And Physical Custody Of My 4 Year Old. In The Divorce Papers It Says My Ex Has Visitation But There Is No Visitation Listed Or Any Set Times Or Dates. So Does That Mean The Visitation Is Up To Me? He Lives In Another Town And Only Comes To Visit Once A Month. She Never Really Meant Anything To Him But Now He Has A New Wife And Is Pretending To Be "Super Dad" And Wants My Child To Stay The Weekends With Him And His New Wife And Her Son. They Dont Have A Room For My Daughter And He Says He Will Have Her Sleep With The Boy. To Me That Is Wrong And I Dont Want Her There Over Night. He Says I Am Selfish And Not Fair. I Think The Boy Is 5 Or 6? I Dont Know, It Is Weird And I Know I Am Over Protective, But I Am So Close With My Daughter And I Dont Want Anything To Happen To Her. Am I Being Rude Or Selfish Or Unfair? I Let Him Pick Her Up And Keep All Day When He Comes To Visit, But I Dont Let Her Stay The Night.

No the visitation is up to both parents. I am currently in court with my ex over custody and if he is to win then all he put in for visitation was as agreed the judge actually made him come up with specifics cause if we do not agree if he wins then we will be back in court... I know what you mean as my ex had nothing to do with my daughter for 6 years and all of a sudden he has settled and about to marry and they want to play happy families... but my daughter loves him and looks at him in totally different eyes to mine.. I cant stand him but i Tolerate him for my daughters sake.. She needs to know her dad. i would ask that he comes up with appropriate bedding for the child but it really isn't that big of deal if she is only staying 1 or 2 nights but any longer and bedding needs to be sorted.. even if its on a sofa.. Once they are older they really do start to see the whole picture.. My daughter is 8 and really knows that her father gives her what she wants and she takes advantage of that... when she went to visit him for the school holidays for 2 whole weeks she did nothing but sit in the house and wait for him to come home he had no time for her she is quite happy with all the clothes and accessories but when it comes time to visit him she cries and carries on but i think its important that she experiences this as she is just not going to given things for nothing she has to realise that yes there is a give and take... but she is definately seeing the full picture.. and in time your daughter will also see for herself this way when she is a teenager she cannot blame you for not knowing her father she will have had the oppourtunity to know him and decide for herself..

EDIT: chase this child support.... It really works against him in the courts if he is not up to date. Oh and i would not let my child go to any house that i did not know the address of... So until you get the address then i would not be sending her.

Certificate Showing Researched Domestic Violence Online?
Lawyer Said It Would Look Good In Court To Get Daughter. Never Was Any Domestic Violence In The Home.

Other than a screen shot of your history list showing those sites or printouts of the webpages, there is no certification that i am aware of in existence. In any event, I cant see how that would have any relevence in a legal action.

The only relevent evidence would be the police reports of domestic violence and medical evidence submitted by the plaintiff.

Evidence of your research into domestic violence would not benefit the actual domestic violence complaint for either side. It merely would show that someone was getting information to see if the reasons for the complaint were reasonable to pursue a case or if one had to mount a defense.

What College Courses Are Required For A Major In Constitutional Law?
I Want To Do This Summer Program Where I Do College Level Courses At Princeton And I Was Wondering What Classses Would Be Beneficial For Me 2 Take If I Want To Major In Constitutional Law. I Dont Want 2 Spend $5000 On Classes For No Reason. Thankyou

Universities that offer a major in Con Law are few and far between. If I could have majored in Con Law, I would have, but in most cases that's just not a realistic option. However, you can attempt to tailor a major in Government or Political Science to your specific interests. And then you can always go to law school, where you can get more Con Law than you can begin to imagine.

Either way, just look for courses that address issues of law in the U.S. The subject of constitutional law is very far reaching, so I'm sure there are a range of courses available to you that all relate to this topic. First, there are the obvious examples of con law oriented courses: Civil Liberties, the First Amendment, Government Structure, etc. Then there will probably be a few ones that are necessarily rooted in con law, such as politics regarding race, gender, sexuality, family, etc. Political theory and political thought classes are going to be far more theoretical than substantive, and not really con law oriented--they'll be about Plato and Loche, not Substantive Due Process and the Exclusionary Rule.

Looking at Princeton's Politics course list, there aren't many things truly geared toward con law per se. Some possibilities, though, include (I put a * next to the ones I, as a con law oriented student, would've most preferred):

POL 220 American Politics
POL 316 Civil Liberties*
POL 318 Law and Society*
POL 324 Congressional Politics
POL 327 Mass Media and American Politics
POL 332 Statesmanship: Anglo-American Theory and Practice
POL 342 The Politics of Gender and Sexuality*
POL 392 American Foreign Policy
POL 422 American Seminar: Religious Liberty in American Constitutional History*
POL 423 American Seminar: Politics of Crime and Punishment
POL 319 Law, Politics and Violence
POL 334 The Politics of Race and Health in America*

If nothing else, just contact the politics department at Princeton and ask their advice.

Connecticut Under-Age Dui Laws?
I'M A Teen Who Recently Moved To The State Of Ct. I Live In A Somewhat Affluent Town, And Here, The Idea Seems To Be That If You Don'T Get Caught With Drugs, You'Re Fine. But I'M Curious Because It Affects So Many Of My New Friends Who Go Driving While &Quot;Under The Influence&Quot;...What Are The Penalties For Getting Caught And Receiving An Under-Age Dui (Driving Under The Influence Of Drugs And/Or Alcohol) In This State? What If You Are Also Caught High Or Drunk In A Car, But You Were Not The One Driving It? Do You Receive The Same Consequences As The Person Who Was?

Connecticut DUI laws:

underage drinking:

as far as being in the car but not as the driver, that would fall under Public Intoxication rather than DUI
