3 Approaches To Know You've Picked The Proper Lawyer It's pretty intimidating to go through a legal court system, particularly if lack confidence inside your legal team. Allow me to share three important ways to know that you've hired the proper lawyer: 1. They Specialize In Your Form Of Case Legal requirements is normally tricky and therefore requires specialists to tackle the tough cases. When you need an attorney, look for individual who handles the challenge you're facing. Even when a member of family or friend recommends you use a company they are fully aware, once they don't have a focus that's similar to your case, keep looking. Once your attorney is surely an expert, especially in the hassle you're facing, you understand you've hired the right one. 2. The Lawyer Has A Winning Record Depending on the circumstances, it might be challenging to win an instance, particularly if the team helping you has minimal to no experience. Seek out practices that have won numerous cases that pertain to yours. Even though this is no guarantee that you just case is going to be won, it will give you a much better shot. 3. They Listen And Respond In the event the attorney you've chosen takes some time to listen to your concerns and react to your inquiries, you've probably hired the correct one. Regardless how busy they are or how small your concerns seem from the perspective, it's important that they respond to you inside a caring and timely manner. From the aim of take a look at a regular citizen who isn't familiar with the judicial system, court cases might be pretty scary you need updates and also to think that you're portion of the solution. Some attorneys are merely a lot better to you and the case than the others. Make certain you've hired the most appropriate team for your personal circumstances, to ensure that you can position the matter behind you immediately. Faith with your legal representative is the initial step to winning any case.

I Fell In The Hospital After Giving Birth On A Broken Toilet Seat.?
My Baby Had Shown Some Extreme Breathing Problems After His Bath So He Had Been Taken To The Nicu. Not Having My Baby They Gave Me A Nurse That Didn't Normally Work In Labor & Delivery. She Told Me That The Other Nurse, That Should Have Been Mine, Wanted Me To Urinate. I Had Had An Epidural And Told Her My Legs Were Very Numb But She Insisted And Helped Me Get To The Bathroom Door. I Had To Struggle To Get Myself To The Toilet Then When I Finally Got There To Sit Down I Suddenly Felt Myself Jerk, Slip, And Hit The Ground. I Opened The Bathroom Door There Was No Nurse To Be Found. I Pulled The Call Cord And Someone Else Helped Me Back To Bed. At First They Thought I Fainted, Which I Insisted I Didn't, Then The Nurse Looked And Said The Toilet Seat Wasn't Bolted At The Top. I Was Treated Fine Until The Shift Change And The Other Nurses Ignored My Calls Wouldn't Bring Me Medicine For Pain And Forgot To Tell My Doctor To Come See Me. I Was Discharged The Next Morning 19 Hours After Having My Son. He Had Since Been Transferred To His 3Rd Hospital To Go On Ecmo. I Was Still In Shock Over The Sickness Of My Son And Basically Being Told He Might Die. While Visiting Him The Nurses Noticed I Could Barely Walk, They Had An Ob/Gyn There Look And He Recommended I See An Orthopedic Specialist. I Am Just So Angry, My Son Is Sick, I Was Treated Horribly And Ignored. Is There Anything I Can Do To Let These People Know That What They Did Is Incredibly Wrong? I Am Now Suffering, Barely Being Able To Sit And Having To Travel 3 Hours Back And Forth Everyday To Visit My Son In The Hospital Out Of State. I Am Never One To Get Upset Like This But This Just Feels Like Its Pushed Me Too Far.

Whatever you do, don't speak to anyone at the hospital about what happened without having an attorney present. Let him guide you on the way to handle this. This is not a minor happening. Don't make complaints or write letters without his knowledge because if they aren't written or said correctly they can be used against you later. I'm not a lawsuit happy person, but you sustained injury due to poor judgment and broken equipment. You should receive compensation for negligence, pain and suffering, and future medical bills. I'm sure an incident report was written up concerning your fall and your attorney can get those records. This has already been brought to the attention of Risk Management and the hospital lawyer. Believe me, they are already anticipating trouble. The hospital will probably try to settle out of court to avoid publicity because they have no defense.

I'm sorry your son is so sick. I've taken care of many post-ECMO babies and they did well. I pray your son recovers and is healthy.

Me? I'm a nurse.

Ok I Will Ask This With Out Being Complicated.Legal Question. And Or Advice?
A Male Signs A Paper For Intent To Adopt. The Mother Has Agreed But She Is Getting Assistance. The Couple Do Not Reside In The Same House @ The Time But Have Intentions Of Marrying. This Is In Pa.Will The Male Signing The Paper For Intention To Adopt Have To Pay Child Support To The Welfare ?? Sounds Un-Likely But God Knows The Way The Govt Works.

Generally, only the legally recognized parents of the child are responsible to support the child. As far as I know, signing a document, intending to adopt is not completing an adoption, so the male is not yet a recognized parent and would have no support obligation.

This answer is based on the extremely limited facts provided and should not be taken as legal advice. Mother and proposed adopting dad should both see lawyers.

Why Are Lawyers Turning Away From Wal-Mart Workers Comp Cases?
I'M Asking This Question For My Father. Background Info: - We Live In Northern California (Crescent City To Be Exact) - He Worked For Wal Mart Back In Later 2007, Until About Early 2008 When He Injured His Back. The Company Sent Him To A Chiropractor Instead Of A Actual Doctor Who Proceeded To Start Cracking His Injured Back Without Any Knowledge Of How Extent The Injury Was. Wal Mart Refused To Have Him Treated And He Began Looking For A Lawyer. He Found One In Southern California, And Was Able To Get Wal Mart To Pay Him Worker'S Comp. However, Now The Lawyer Is Trying To Settle The Case; Telling The Judge That My Father Is Receiving Treatment And Future Treatment Which Is A Straight Lie. He Has Not Been Able To See A Doctor Regularly For His Back, And He Has Not Been Receiving The Pain Medication For The Injury. When He Tries To Call The Lawyer He Has To Find Out What Is Going On, The Lawyer Refuses To Talk To Him And Instead Tells Him To &Quot;Stop Calling, Your Only On The Phone The Talk.&Quot; As Of December Of 2008 When He Saw The Qme Doctor (The Only Doctor The Lawyer Was Able To Get Him To See) They Have Been Trying To Settle The Case. Can Anyone Explain This Situation To Us? We Do Not Understand Why The Lawyer Is Acting In This Manor, And As Well Why No Other Lawyer Will Take His Case?

Why are lawyers turning away from Wal-mart Workers comp cases?
because generally a lawyer is not needed in a workers' compensation case........

the state has strict guidelines that must be followed and that even includes any settlement.
this has nothing to do with Wal-Mart...................

the state determines the settlement amount if there is any based on your fathers % of permanent partial disability as set by his doctor or the state certified board of doctors.
care for back injuries is commonly obtained through chiropractors.......

the state sets the amount an attorney may receive if you elect to retain one and if you change attorneys the amount does not go up so the two attorneys then have to split their part of any settlement.

you can contact the state and ask about receiving assistance in this particular case.
the fact that your father made the choice to retain counsel and not follow through with the state first may become an issue and limit what the state will/can do for him.

You Are Involved In A Business Dispute With A Long-Time Vendor. Would You Prefer Litigation, Arbitration Or?
Mediation To Arrive At A Resolution To The Dispute? Why? Would You Prefer A Different Method Of Resolution If The Other Party Were Your Best Customer? Why?

Follow the process of Negotiating first and then Mediation and if both these fail to settle the dispute decide on Arbitration or Litigation. Litigation is time consuming and expensive whereas Arbitration can be expensive depending on the number of hearings and the Institute conducting the procedure.

Where Can I Get Free Legal Advice Regarding Foreclosure?
I Have A Home That I Want To Go Into Foreclosure As I Already Have Another Home And I Would Like To Know Things Like Should I Pay My Hoa Dues Now Or Wait Until I Get A Judgment I Already Have A Summons From The Hoa ?

You would not be getting free legal advice on this forum, just opinions as most of us are not attorneys, therefore can not legally offer you legal advice.

Is the HOA dues owed on the property being foreclosed on? The homeowners would eventually file and
probably win a judgment against you that you would have to pay.

Since you would be required to pay the HOA dues eventually that this should be done.

Since these are legal questions I would suggest you find an attorney to get a legal opinion about this as well a tax consultant about any tax matters that might be involved in this foreclosure.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

"FIGHT ON:

The Constitutional Laws, Are They Not Impositions?
On Each And Every American? Doesn'T Each And Every Law We Have In America Originate From Someones &Quot;Moral&Quot; Interpretation? So, Isn'T The Real Question: &Quot;Who Do You Want To Be Your Moral Compass?&Quot;

Well to understand this you have to understand old laws. In Europe during the medieval period, laws were loosely based on religion and however someone interprets it. Matter of fact when the Ice Age came, the Pope came out and said it's witches that did it. As many as a few hundred thousand people died as a result of this so-called "witch hunting" and anyone could have fingered pointed and said, "He did it! Right there!" And they would send that person off to be burnt. Religion had the upper hand, but opening the bible, none of the rules in there actually made sense largely because they were open to ambiguous interpretation. One person could read the bible and say one thing, another could say something else, another could disagree and come up with their own version. Overall so many different things ways religion could be interpreted. Even in modern America, many Christians say the government has duty to god to do this and that but the funny thing is no one person is claiming the government should do the same thing that their bible calls out for and even if there is a similar subject such as abortion or gay marriage, there's such a wide array of opinion you really can't base the law off religion.

America was founded with the idea that "common sense" and laws that every person had rights to were fundamental towards the system. All laws in the United States follow the idea that every person has a right and the most basic rights cannot be infringed upon. With that said, there is no "moral compass" other than that the laws were written in a way that a common man (or person if you want to call it that) is able to read the law and follow it in such a way that doesn't deny him of his most basic rights as a person.
