Finding An Experienced Lawyer Regardless of what your legal needs are you will recognize that there are countless lawyers in the area that advertise that they can concentrate on your type of case. This may make the procedure of finding one with a great deal of experience somewhat of a challenge. However, if you follow the following it will be easy to limit your pursuit off to the right one out of very little time. The first step is to make a set of the lawyers which are listed in your neighborhood focusing on your circumstances. When you are causeing this to be list you should only include those that you may have an excellent vibe about based on their advertisement. Then you can narrow this list down by taking a bit of time evaluating their webpage. There you should certainly find just how many years they are practicing and several general information about their success rates. At this time your list needs to have shrunken further to individuals that you felt had professional websites along with an appropriate level of experience. You need to then make time to look up independent reviews for each attorney. Make sure you see the reviews rather than depending on their overall rating. The data inside the reviews provides you with a sense of the way they communicate with their customers and the length of time they invest into each case they are taking care of. Finally, you should meet up with a minimum of the last three lawyers which may have the credentials you are searching for. This gives you enough time to truly evaluate how interested they can be in representing you and the case. It is actually imperative that you follow all of these steps to actually find a person that has the proper degree of experience to help you the perfect outcome.

I Need Automotive Legal Advice????? Please Help!?
Three Years Ago, I Had A Friend In Need. He Had Wrecked A New Car And Had No Insurance. I Told Him I Would Buy His Old Car From Him So He Would Have Some Money. I Gave Him Cash And He Said It Would Be A Couple Of Weeks Befor He Could Sign The Title Over To Me. So I Took The Car And Parked It At My House. A Few Days Later He Got In Some Trouble And Got Kicked Out Of The Military. All His Phones Were Turned Off And He Moved. I Got Back In Contact With Him A Few Months Ago And Asked About The Title For The Car. Ever Since Then He Has Been Avoiding Me. I'Ve Had This Car For Three Years And Can Do Nothing With It With Out The Title. What Can I Do???????
The best people to help you out with this problem, would be the Citizens Advice Bureau. Even a call to the D.V.L.A wouldn`t go amiss as they would be able to tell you if he is still the registered owner. Has he shown any interest in claiming the car back. I do feel for you because with friends like this, who needs enemies. GOOD LUCK.
How Much Does It Cost To Get A Lawyer?
For Civil Litigation
It's really between you and the lawyer. Most will negotiate to some extent, some just say "$400 an hour plus expenses".
You will have to contact a handful (3-5) and discuss your case with them, and go from there. Nobody can give you an actual number here.
Becoming A Lawyer/Attorney?
So I'M In 10Th Grade And Like Most Others My Age, I'M Thinking About What I Want To Be And The Kind Of Colleges I Want To Apply For. I'M Currently Thinking About Being A Lawyer, Its Well Paid, Doesn'T Require A Ridiculous Amount Of Schooling (7-8 Years), And The Job Itself Appeals To Me (I Can See Myself Working In A Law Office And Courtroom). So I'M Wanting To Know What It Takes To Make A Decent Living As A Lawyer And What I Should Look Into Schooling Wise. I Understand That Law Is A Very Broad Field But What I'M Looking At Is Being A Private Attorney Working For A Firm, I Don'T Care About Being In A Top Firm And Making Tons Of Money ($80,000+ Works For Me). So Is It Necessarily Difficult To Achieve This And Would I Have An Issue Finding A Job? I Haven'T Took The Act/Sats Yet But I Currently Have A 4.0 Gpa And I'M Tied For 1St In My Class (However I See My Gpa Dropping This Year Due To Difficult Classes But I Am Determined To Keep It Above 3.5), I'M In Afjrotc Where I Have Held A Total Of Five Leadership Positions, I'M In The Kitty Hawk Honor Society (Rotc Equivalent To National Honor Society), I'M On Drill Team (Military Competitive Marching), I Used To Be Both A Cub Scout And Boy Scout, And By The End Of My Hs Years I Will Have A 100 Plus Hours Of Community Service And Volunteer Work. Not To Mention I'M Joining The Military After Hs So Would Being A Veteran Help Any? Duke University Currently Appeals To Me (Its In The Top 14 Law Schools) But Is It Unrealistic?
I am a third year law student. So far your resume sounds great! However, schools average your GPA with your LSAT score when considering applications. So until you take the LSAT which you will not do for another 6 years or so there is no way of knowing your chances of getting in Duke until i know that. I have heard that philosophy majors do the best on the LSAT. One caveat, if i were you i would plan on going to the school that offers the biggest scholarship. If you don't plan on working in big law then it doesn't matter if you go to a tier 2 or tier 3 school. Even though 80,000 sounds like a lot, when you have 100,000 + in debt and want to buy a new car or a house that seriously hinders you. I know practicing attorneys who were forced into jobs they didn't want because they had to pay off their debt. My law school charges more than 40,000 a year, but I am on a full scholarship and it feels great to be able to graduate debt free. I am one of the fortunates who has a job when i graduate this May, and if you excel in law school as much as you have in high school I am sure you will have no problem getting a job.
Joining the military will be just another factor they will consider and it looks good, but why are you going to the military instead of undergraduate? if you know you want to be a lawyer go straight to undergrad.

What Are The Penalties For A First Dui In Kentucky?
My Husband Got His First Ever Dui In Kentucky And Registered A .099 Bac. He Has Never Been In Any Trouble Before And Was Released On &Quot;Personal Regognizance&Quot;. I Was Wondering If There Is Mandatory Jail Time And What The Fine Is? I Am Pretty Sure The License Suspension Is 30 - 120 Days.
Kentucky DUI cases can be charged in two different ways: either violating the law prohibiting driving under the influence of alcohol (or other drugs), which relates to a loss of one's physical or mental faculties as the result of drinking; or by violating Kentucky's per se law, simply by driving with an alcohol level of .08% or more. (For drivers under the age of 21, the limit is .02%.)
First offense Kentucky DUI Cases are punished as follows:
Fine: $200.00-$500.00 (plus statutory service fee of $250.00 and other miscellaneous costs.)
Jail: 48 hours to 30 days. Under Kentucky law for a first offender, either a fine OR jail must be imposed.
Community Service: In lieu of a fine or imprisonment or both, an offender can apply to the judge for permission to enter a community labor program for not less than 48 hours nor more than 30 days.
License Suspension: For Kentucky residents 21 and over when arrested, a District Judge can impose a license suspension between 30 and 120 days. A hardship license is available if the suspension is more than 30 days. Drivers under 21 will be suspended for 30 days to six months and can have a hardship license. After the license suspension and completion of alcohol treatment, drivers may be reinstated.
Alcohol and Drug Assessment and Treatment: Ninety days.
An Example Of Both A Civil Law Case And A Criminal Law Case?
I Mean Like Famous One, And I Want Them To Be Interesting Cases Because I Need To Write A Lot About Them.
criminal case--People vs Dr. Conrad Murray (that was the case where Michael Jackson's doctor was accused of giving him drugs that killed him)
civil case--Brown vs Board of Education (in this case, racial segregation in public schools was declared illegal)
