I' Am Looking For A Lawyer.?
I Have A Ex That Is Getting Support For My Kids But Now They Are In There Teens. One Is Going To Have A Baby And Saying That Is Going To School But I Know She Is Not.The Next In Working And Not Living With Is Mother.I'Am Just Looking For A Lawyer To Help Me. The Money I Do Make Is Not Much Money,So If Any One Know'S Of Some That Can Help Thank You.

Look you can post this same question on here and get a better idea if my answer is not pretty much on the mark

http://www.avvo.com/

My answer is if you pay a lawyer or go back to family court with this in mind you are spinning your tires. Until they are eighteen the mother is still the one providing for their care. If the one that is not living with your mother at the moment is in Cairo Egypt or something maybe yes but your ex can always say she is visiting and coming back. If the other is pregnant and going or not going to school it is a non issue. Your ex is still providing for both of them and I am fairly certain you will not prevail in family court to reduce your child support payments. Been there, done that, got the T shirt and yes, it sucks.

Looking For Information On Custody. Lawyers Help?
Two Months Ago My Daughters Father Filed A Temp. Restraining Order In Order To Take My Daughter. We Have Been Going To Court To Resolve That Part. His Accusations Were That I Was Doing Drugs. Him And His Mother Are Listed As The Restrainers Until The Court Tells Us Otherwise. I Have Had Supervised Visitations And Court Has Been Pushed Back. Today Child Protective Services Took Our Daughter From Him And Gave Him To His Mother Because He Came Out Dirty On A Drug Test. If Drug Tested I Would Be Clean. I Am Just Wondering If I Have Any Rights To Have My Daughter Instead Of His Parents.

That's what the upcoming hearing is for. Make sure you're able to pass a drug test. Depending on what state you're in, it could be a hair follicle test, which goes back a LOOONNGGG time. If you pass the test, there is no other evidence of drug use, and there is no other reason for the restraining order, you should be able to have your daughter.

Sounds like a messy situation. Sorry and good luck.

Christians Or Others - If You Committed A Felony, Would Want Your Defense Attorney To Be Christian Or Atheist?

I would definitely want a Christian attorney; since Christians are all sinners there is not such a scrutiny when it comes to honesty and ethics. Immoral acts and crimes are more readily understood in a Christian philosophical environment.

Diff. B/W Advocate,Lawyer,Pleader,Barister & Attorney ?
As They Seems All Are Advocating Law Then So Many Names. May Be On The Basis Of Some Liberty Or Seniorty...?

Not much. The actual answer depends on the jurisdiction, the country. In the USA where there are more lawyers than in the rest of the countries put together, the normal term is "lawyer" or "attorney at law", or less commonly "counselor at law". They are all the same thing. Licensing is by state (or territory, like Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.), although the federal courts (and some federal agencies and the military) have their own rules.

In England/Wales, there are "solicitors" and "barristers". Solicitors are the first point of contact with clients and give general advice and may appear in some minor courts; they appoint barristers who do research and give specific advice and argue (plead cases) in court.

In France they have "avocats" and "conseillers". In Canada, a lawyer is a "solicitor and barrister". In Quebec a lawyer may be an "avocat, plaideur et conseiller juridique".

But really these are just titles. The training for any lawyer is the same, except that (in England) a solicitor will take a year's law course and serve a year as a clerk with a solicitor; a barrister will take a year's bar course and serve a year as a pupil wiith a barrister.

All of these people are "lawyers" or "jurists".

Is There A Lawyer In The House? If So Please Email Me.
Concerning A Civil Lawsuit!

There are many lawyers who answer questions here. Giving "general legal information" in the scope of a forum such as this is perfectly legal. To answer your "specific" questions, though, in a one-one exchange through email, would constitute "practicing law", so the lawyer would need to be licensed in your State, and would be opening himself up to liability.

If you want a question answered, post it here. If you need more than that, you need to find a local lawyer. You can look in the phone book, or search the database at www.lawyers.com by State and specialty.
