The majority of people do not think about acquiring a lawyer until they are in desperate need. The lawful situation could be personal, like family law, for a divorce or separation or if you are searching for a bankrupcy or trust lawyer or attorney. It may be a criminal condition you need to be defended on. Firms want lawyers as well, no matter if they are being sued for discrimination, sexual harassment, or potentially unfounded business practices. Tax law firms are also very helpful any time coping with government difficulties. Just like doctors, lawyers have expertise. A large, full service law firm has a number of attorneys with numerous areas of skills, so based upon on your personal legal issue, you can promptly retain the best legal representative to meet your current need without having to begin your search each time you need legal help.It is ideal to obtain a lawyer you can have confidence in. You want one with a very good record, who issincere, efficient, and wins cases. You want to have confidence that they will defend you the right way and charge you fairly for their products and services. From time to time a recommendation from a colleague or business affiliate can be useful, even so you should keep your options open and examine all the firms available, simply because when you need legal support, you need it rapidly and you need the best you can manage to pay for. Thank you for searching for a lawyer or attorney with us. Your time is important, and Action Pages, at Actionyp.com, is happy to deliver specific search variables to meet your requirements. How Do I Find A Good Family Law Attorney?
My Ex And I Are Having Issues Over Visitation. He Is Currently In Iraq, But When He Gets Home He Wants To Visit With Our Son, Which Is Fine. Here'S The Catch: He Wants Him For One Week When He Gets Home, One Month In The Summer, And Every Christmas. I Sent Him An Email Telling Him That Since It Has Been Right At 5 Years Since He Has Seen Our Son, He Needs To Make A Few Small Weekend Trips Here So Our Son Can Get To Know Him Personally Not As A Voice On The Phone Once A Month (Our Son Is 6). I Told Him That These Things Needed To Be Eased Into, Since For All Intensive Purposes He Is A Stranger To Our Son. Also, When I Ask My Son If He Wants To See His Daddy, He Says Yes, But Only If I Can Go With Him Or If His Daddy Comes Here; So I Know My Son Is Feeling Uneasy About This. I Received An Email Back, Saying I Was Just Trying To Babysit Him And He (My Ex) Didn'T Need A Babysitter. So, I Emailed Him Again Telling Him That Until He Establishes A Trusting Relationship Where Our Son Feels Comfortable With Him I Would Not Let Him Go For Any Amount Of Time. Let Me Add He Will Reside In Mississippi, And I Live In Indiana, So Its Not Like If My Son Is Having A Hard Time I Can Just Go Pick Him Up; It Is About A 10 Hour Drive. I Do Not Object To My Son Seeing His Daddy. I Just Think He Needs To Get To Know His Daddy In An Atmosphere He Feels Comfortable In Before Going For A Week Or More Away From Home (And A 10 Hour Drive). Anywho... So How Do I Find A Good Attorney? How Do I Know If They Are A Good Attorney Or So-So?

Been there, done that sister. this is my advice;

Interview with at least 3 attorneys that practice family law in your area. Write down questions that pertain to your situation and ask them. ask each attorney that, if they were unable to represent you for whatever reason, whom would they recommend? Also, ask them about the law guardians in your area, as your son will need one [you should 'require' one for him]. A law guardian is an attorney appointed by family court to represent your son and his best interest. Remember that he or she is not your attorney, nor your husbands. they will not inform you of a lot of the information that they collect on your sons behalf, so dont let that upset you. You can request a specific law guardian for your son in family court, some judges will grant a request for a specific attorney...mine did. X husband needs to understand that he will have to share ALL holidays. My x and I alternate holidays. I can go on, but I think Ive given the nuts and bolts here. I wish you and your boy all the best!!

I Need Help .Looking For Civil Lawyer.?
Please, I Have A Civil Matter That Involves A Lot Of People And I'M Willing To Expose It All! I Need A Lawyer That Is Willing To Help On A Contingency. There'S A Lot That I Know And A Lot Of Questions Needs To Be Examined.

Nobody can possibly answer your question unless or until you provide more details. Lawyers specialize in one or two areas.

Saying you need a "civil lawyer" is like saying you need a doctor for a specific medical condition. I could give you the name of my family's pediatrician or podiatrist - but this wouldn't do you any good if you are an adult with a heart condition.

Legal Help?
I Have A 3 Month Old Daughter And Her Father And I Are No Longer Together. We Were Never Married. He Has Anger Issues, Was Physically Abused When He Was 13 (Now He'S 27), Is A Heavy Drinker, Has Been In Jail For Fighting At Bars, Has Had A Dui About 2 Years Ago & Is Living With Family Now. He Also Is A Very Heavy Sleeper. So Heavy That When Our Daughter Was Just A Few Weeks Old He Wouldn'T Wake Up When She Was Crying And Was Right Beside Him. My Question Is This....How Can I Get Supervised Visits If He Would Push For Visitation? I Let Him See Her Up To 5 Times A Week But I'M Afraid After A While He Will Get Tired Of Coming To Our House To See Her. I Do Not Feel He Is Capable Of Taking Care Of Her And Does Not Know How To Deal Well With Her When She Crys (Which She Does A Lot When He Holds Her). Any Suggestions How I Can Protect My Little Girl? That Is My Main Concern. I Haven'T Even Went To Child Support And Don'T Plan On It For Now So This Is Not A Revenge Situation. Help!

Get Legal advice. $17 a month call and ask any question and talk to a lawyer as long as you need to to get your question answered.
If you have another question call again. It is a great deal, and has helped me, different type of situation in my case, but it was nice to know I had options and what they were. There is a whole bunch more that is included in the plan I would watch the video, and email the guy to find out more if you want.

Legal Consultation Over The Phone?
I Was Involved In Accident In Other State And Its Hard To Get Legal Consultation From Someone Who Knows Other States Laws So I Was Wondering Is There “ Legal Help Over The Phone” Service. So, I Could Find Out Pa Laws And Pay For Consultation By Check Or Credit Card…. I Know About “Legal Insurance” Like Arog But They Only Refer You To The Lawyer Who You Have To See In Person. So, Any Suggestions?

You should call the bar association for the city, ask for the names of a few lawyers who practice that kind of law (personal injury, I assume), and call their offices. Explain what you need, and just see if anyone is willing to spend a few minutes with you over the phone. Be very polite, as anyone doing this would be doing you a favor.

Since Obama Was A Civil Rights Attorney, What Will His Immigration Policy Look Like?

Every President ever has wanted amnesty in both parties.

If you are honest with yourself you will realize that there is nothing we can do to stop people from coming across our border. It is just an issue to get the base out to vote. You are being played.

Obama was never a civil rights attorney. He was in constitutional law. He taught constitutional law.

Accountant For Small Business Question?
This Is Essentially A 4 Part Question. I'M Starting A Small Business Soon. I Don'T Know Much About Taxes And Which I Should Pay For My Small Business, Is Hiring An Accountant A Good Idea? I Don'T Want Uncle Sam Coming To Get Me Later On In Life Because I Forgot To Pay Some Taxes. So Would Hiring An Accountant To Sort Out All My Tax Issues A Good Thing. Is That Even There Job, Essentially? And If So Let'S Just Say By Chance He Makes A Mistake And The Gov Ends Up Coming To Get Me Is It His Fault Or Mines. Because I Did Hire Him To Do My Taxes? And How Much Does An Accountant Charge?....Rough Draft From Experience If U Have Any

It certainly wouldn't hurt to get some information about running a small business, here is the IRS site http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/. Also check with your local chamber of commerce, they normally over classes or services to help out new small business owners. You do not necessarily need to get an accountant since their fees can be quite exorbitant, they charge by the hour so think lawyer like, low end $100 (if lucky) to $500+. It all depends on what type of business you are running and your degree of organization. But you may be able to use a tax preparer, at least during your first years to keep expenses down. If you are running a business out of your home and are good at keeping track of receipts, mileage, separating business from personal than you can try and go without the expense of a CPA. If you are planning on buying/renting property, hiring employees, buying/leasing large equipment you may first want to consider a business lawyer that can help you with all ends of the business, but you still may need a tax preparer. A CPA is needed if you are dealing with a large amount of money and expenses.

The person who fills out your tax return is not liable for omissions because it is not there responsibility if you did not provide all the information and receipts. An ethical accountant will pay any fees and penalties incurred due to their error. The IRS will still hold you responsible for taxes unless the preparer made and admits to the error that lead to taxes not being paid, but if not reputable this could be a battle. This is why organization and keeping track of expenses, as well as full disclosure to your preparer is so important. I always tell my clients if you are not sure if it is needed for taxes, either call and ask me, or place it or a copy in your tax folder so you remember to discuss it with me later. It is so hard to remember everything that happens during a year so always make notes/questions on receipts, statements, reports to refresh your memory on why you thought this was relevant tax wise.

CPAs, accountants, tax professionals, advisers, etc are held to certain rules and guidelines as you can see from circular 230.
