Information On Legal Seperations?
Information On Legal Seperations Without Filing Papers
A legal separation is a property division and custoty/child support determination, by the court, without a legal judgment of dissolution of marriage.
It is still a legal proceeding, and papers need to be filed.
There is, in effect, almost no difference between the two, except that, with a legal separation, you cannot remarry. You are still, technically and legally married.
But the assets and liabilities of the parties are divided; custody and visitation of the children are adjudicated, and child support is ordered.
It is a court proceeding and, as such, you must file a petition for legal separation and a summons or citation, which must be served on the other party.
Most of this information is available on the internet, and can be done without a lawyer (which is very expensive). Of course, if it becomes disputed, legal advice and representation is recommended.
Why Should I Pay An Attorney $700 For A Trademark Search When Uspto & State Search Is Free?
It Seems I Can Search The Uspto For Current And Pending Trademarks As Well As My State Corporation Database. What Does An Attorney Have Access To That I Don'T?
Nothing, but an attorney knows how to run the search and has more experience to deal with potential problems. It's not as simple as searching with google.
Lawyers Or Attorneys Please..?
Hi, So Ah, I Really Need Some Advice Besides My Parents About A Personal/Family Issue And I Was Wondering If There'S A Website That I Could Go To For Help Or If You (A Lawyer/Attorney) Can Help Me With No Consultation Fee? Anyway, Please Let Me Know! And If You'Re An Actual Lawyer/Attorney, Please If There'S Any Way, Give Me Your Email So I Could Contact You?
You need an attorney who is licensed to practice law where you live.
Also most attorneys will speak with you for about 10 to 20 minutes at no charge to assess the merits of your case.
I recommend that you go to the Yellow Pages and look up the section for attorneys.
since this is a personal/family issue I recommend that you call several attorneys who practice Family Law.
Selling Trial And Jury Info To Attorneys?
I Found A Job Lead That Offers A Trial And Jury Service To Attorneys. The Interview Is On A Sunday Which Seems Odd, And I Think The Job Entails Cold Calling A Lot To Attorneys. Any Lawyers Out There That Can Chime In? Just Wondering If A Service Like This Is Useful, Or Will I Just Get A Lot Of Hang Ups And &Quot;I'M Sorry, The Attorney Is Unavailable&Quot;.
Here Is A Link To Their Website: Http://Www.Thetrialservice.Com/
I'Ve Cold Called In The Past And It Isn'T Real Fun-I Would Hate To Commit To A Job That I Don'T Feel Is A Win-Win For The Both Of Us.
From the website, it looks like they are a PI firm snooping on juries and judges. Not sure there would be a lot of demand and it seems borderline unethical, unless an attorney has a legit reason to do a background check on a juror to disqualify them. Usually a lawyer doesn't have time to do that while a trial is going on. Judges the attorneys usually already know about, from experience or talking to other judges. So I don't know how much demand there would be except for really big long term trials, which are rare.
Prior verdicts can be found through legit subscription websites. There are agencies that do sample trials so attorneys can see how the concept of their case, their client, their opening and closing statements go over.
I'm a retired lawyer now working as a paralegal. For whatever reason, I get the cold calls in our firm. I jot down the information and pass it on to the attorney who buys services for the firm. They generally get ignored at that point.
Most of those services are sold by word of mouth. Attorneys ask each other and ask questions on listserves. So I doubt that you would get very far cold calling, unless you can name references from other attorneys in the same field.
Go to the interview and see what that's about. They may do it on a Sunday because they are very busy, which is why they are hiring, or because most of the people they interview are working and they can come on a Sunday.

Traffic Violation Attorneys For North East Pa?
I Can'T Seem To Find It, I Must Have &Quot;Traffic Violation&Quot; Being The Wrong Terminology ... What Are The Proper Terms To Search And Get Results I Need To These Type Of Legal Services?
Traffic violations do not use attorneys. You go and you are either guilty or not guilty. 90% of traffic violations are found guilty, and these days, most are even video taped so little chance that you can get off. About the only way that people get off are if they can prove that the cop was in an illegal spot when they saw you doing the offense or if they made some sort of clerical error when writing your ticket.
If you are talking about DUI that is called a CRIMINAL offense and you need a Criminal Attorney.
